11-12-20- Battery Backup Offerings are Changing, SimplyHome Firefly Speaker and Voice Notifications Update, New Representatives have Joined our Team

  • Sara McManus, Administrative Assistant, is no longer working for SimplyHome. July 15, 2020, SimplyHome welcomed Jefferson Haynes to our team as an Operations Support Specialist.

  • The virtual demo apartment on our website and the virtual apartment Representative link has been updated to include current products.

08-21-20 Update to our Podio Marketing Form

  • The Podio Marketing Form has been updated. Representatives can now select “Rep Marketing Request”. Once Selected, Representative will need to complete the first section of the form and the second section of the forms titled “Rep Marketing Request”.

  • Representatives are able through this form to make a request for a zoom meeting to be set up on their behalf, request a SimplyHome staff member join them for an upcoming presentation, or request customized marketing material for a specific client or event.

05-15-20 Installations Amidst COVID-19:

  • As restrictions surrounding COVID-19 are lifted, our team at SimplyHome continues to make the health and safety of our customers our top priority. Installations may resume in areas in which restrictions have been lifted. We will continue taking health precautions and have created a document that outlines our expectations for customers and installers during this time.

04-23-20 Product Update- Effective Immediately:

  • Ring Video Doorbell 2s - Ring has stopped producing these, and they have been replaced with the new Ring Video Doorbell 3, which we will now be stocking/ordering moving forward.

    • The MSRP for the RVD3 is about the same as the RVD2.

    • They use the same style rechargeable battery.

    • The only major difference between the RVD2 and the RVD3 is the WiFi - the RVD3 has dual band WiFi, meaning it works on 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz WiFi networks (the RVD2s were 2.4 GHz only).

  • We have already pulled our existing RVD2 inventory for current builds (most of these are on hold). Anything quoted with RVD2s but not signed/returned yet may be updated to feature the RVD3.

03-13-20 COVID-19 Installation Update: If you are scheduled to complete an installation, please check with whomever is at the location - If they have any symptoms, we will not be doing an install there.

  • If you get there and feel uncomfortable, you (or the FieldNation installer) have the power to notify us of a need to reschedule.

  • Please communicate with customers expecting an install:

    • We will not send anyone into a situation where people are sick. If the installer shows up and someone at the residence exhibits symptoms of COVID-19, we will reschedule the install, and customers are responsible for the associated costs incurred.

11-22-19 Product Updates - Effective Immediately:

  • Telehealth: We will no longer be offering Telehealth products/services to new clients EXCEPT for those participating in the Alaska SILC grant. We will continue to support existing Telehealth clients in the field indefinitely.

  • Environmental Controls: Our Environmental Controls systems are undergoing some adjustments, due to the discontinuation of the BitWise controller. If you have clients who will be ordering EC systems in the near future, please let Gabrielle know.

11-12-19 Pricing Update from Customer Service: Our vendor has increased the cost of our bed pads so effective immediately, we are increasing the MSRP and dealer prices for them as well. I believe this is our first price increase for this item in over 6 years. The following items have been updated:

  • Pressure Sensor - Bed WHITE (20"x30" Pad Only) - MSRP is now $53.95

  • Pressure Sensor - Bed (20"x30" with Wireless Capability) - MSRP is now $103.90

  • Updated price sheets are coming soon to reflect this change.

10-24-19: Med Dispensers Moving to 4G

We are now offering 4G cellular medication dispensers instead of 3G units! Here’s the scoop:

  • There’s no change in price for cellular med dispensers or their services.

  • We will support 3G medication dispensers in the field as long as 3G technology still exists in the client's area (this technology is being phased out between 2020-2022). Eventually, MedReady plans to provide a service to upgrade existing 3G units to 4G (for a fee).

  • To confirm cellular coverage for your client, check AT&T – the new dispensers use their 4G networks. We will let you know if other 4G networks become available (Verizon is on the horizon, folks!).

  • All 4G unit IDs begin with 865 (as a reminder, 3G unit IDs begin with 013).
