Meet Michael Doornbos: SimplyHome's Newest Addition
SimplyHome Hires Michael Doornbos as Product Designer
As product designer at SimplyHome, Mr. Doornbos is responsible for managing multiple internal and external product development projects, overseeing operations and managing the organization's upcoming wireless technology suite designed for the empowerment of independent living.
Michael is the founder and podcast host at Evadot.com and founder of SpaceUp DC. Michael is a technologist, software designer, security consultant, speaker, writer and podcaster.
For 15 years, Michael has been founding software companies, designing and building data centers, performing security analysis, rolling out citywide cellular networks, and developing software. Michael is the recognized expert in the Google Lunar X PRIZE and is often sought after for strategic consulting in the emerging commercial space and technology industries. He is the author of the forthcoming book series called “A New Kind of Hero.”
Michael's addition to the SimplyHome team will bring an expertise in developing products that enhance the quality of life for people seeking to live with independence.

Michael is a speaker at this weekend's South By Southwest (SXSW) conference in Austin, Texas; he is giving a talk entitled "How to Win Friends and Influence Space exploration."
