Eat at Local Food Trucks and Celebrate SimplyHome’s Second Appearance on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Asheville, N.C. – December 30, 2011 Asheville-based assistive technology company, SimplyHome returns to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 8pm EST, with the Gibbs Family episode and will mark the occasion with “A SimplyHomeTown Food Truck Fundraiser.”
In the spirit of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and in celebration of their second appearance on the show, SimplyHome, is sponsoring the event to raise funds for No Place Like Home.
Formed earlier this year, No Place Like Home is a charitable partnership between SimplyHome & Eblen Charities that promotes independent living by providing assistive technology to local senior adults and people with disabilities.
Throughout the week of the show, SimplyHome will match all donations made to No Place Like Home through participating Asheville area food trucks. “A SimplyHomeTown Food Truck Fundraiser” will run from Tuesday, January 3rd through Sunday, January 8th, during lunch and dinner hours.
