Your Role as Representative

Your role as a SimplyHome Representative is very important to us, and we love that you’ve chosen to take the journey toward creating opportunities for independent living through enabling technology with us. As an independent sales representative, your role with SimplyHome is to develop and nurture relationships with providers, individuals, families, funders, and any other stakeholders in your geographic area. This involves primarily front-end processes in identifying new business opportunities, presenting to potential customers, involvement in person-centered assessments, and facilitating sales processes in conjunction with the SimplyHome Customer Service and Business Development teams. Opportunities to assist with system installations are also possible, but not required.


Job Duties

  • Market Research: Research and develop an understanding and responsibility for Medicaid processes in the covered geographic area as it relates to enabling technology approval, funding, waiver language and updates, state grants and opportunities, etc. Identify key players and industry and trade associations in the covered geographic area.

  • Education: Create opportunities for communicating commitment to technology with new providers, staff, and individuals and families; attend conferences as needed to educate communities on technology integration; attend Intro to SimplyHome webinars and be present at individual assessment conversations for the covered geographic area as available; engage in SimplyHome’s online courses and available training opportunities for Representatives.

  • Sales:  Identify new business opportunities and serve as initial contact for new providers, following SimplyHome LLC’s on-boarding processes for a consistent and unified approach; professionally and accurately identify and market SimplyHome LLC’s person-centered processes, our current technology offerings, and their capabilities.

  • Customer Relationship Management:  Ensure business flow is occurring in a timely and efficient manner, following up as needed and documenting communications in Podio. Maintain active involvement with person-centered assessments. Engage in opportunities to complete system installations if desired. Direct existing customers to appropriate channels (help tickets, intake forms, requests for more information) as needed, providing minimal level of ongoing customer support after point-of-sale. Focus primarily on sales and new business; conduct follow-up communications and engage with identified leads.

  • Reporting:  Prepare, review, and submit all invoices in a timely and efficient manner, following SimplyHome LLC’s Representative accounting processes.

  • Marketing: Consistently utilize SimplyHome’s branding elements, approved and provided by SimplyHome, in conjunction with the SimplyHome Marketing team. These materials should be utilized solely for the purposes of marketing, advertising, and promoting the process to representative customers.
