The Town of North Hempstead (NY) is holding the 5th Regional Aging in Place Conference and Expo on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 in Port Washington (NY).

This year’s conference theme is “Operation PI Connect,” featuring The VA Mission Act and Entitlements, Medicare 2020 Updates, and vendors specializing in senior services. Project Independence is the town’s Aging In Place Initiative (seniors 60+ make up 25 percent of the population).
