SimplyHome will take part in SENIOR Solution's seventh annual Upstate SENIOR Expo being held at the Anderson Civic Center tomorrow, November 5th, 9am-2pm. Over 2000 seniors around the Upstate are expected to attend.

The event will showcase products, and give Senior Adults and their families the opportunity to gain more knowledge about beneficial services. The event is free with entertainment, raffles, health screenings, and more. If someone would like to take advantage of the health screenings, keep in mind for accurate results, we ask that you do not eat or drink anything other than water for at least 8 hours prior to being screened. It is fine to take medications with water. AnMed Health Medical outreach will be on site offering free blood pressure, blood sugar and total cholesterol screenings. A Lipid profile including the breakdown of cholesterol into HDL, LDL, and Triglycerides is offered for a cost of $15. Additionally, AnMed’s Rehab hospital will be offering free balance screening to attendees. Once again SC DHEC will be offering flu vaccines as well. If you plan to take advantage of this opportunity don’t forget to bring your Medicare card and proper identification. If you do not have Medicare and wish to take the vaccine, the cost is $25. To showcase our home delivered meals programs, lunch will be provided for those attending absolutely free beginning at 10:30am.

A convenient drop-off at the front entrance is available for buses, groups and individuals needing assistance.
